The Best Restaurants in Copenhagen

The StarTripper Journal presents the best places to dine in Copenhagen, both international gourmet and good danish choices.
Our team to Copenhagen are a highly experienced couple who have traveled and tested a lot of European hotels and restaurants. They particularly like Copenhagen as one of the most liveable cities in the world, one of the leading gastronomic destinations, the elegant and timeless Design, and a truly green capital.

The StarTripper Journal Recommends these Restaurants:
AOC is situated in a vaulted cellar of a 17th century historic mansion in the centre of Copenhagen.
The gastronomic philosophy is modern, using fresh Nordic produce sourced from both the earth and sea.
Chef Sören Selin and Sommelier Christian Aarö gives their guests a perfection within the ‘New Nordic Kitchen’, where food and wine accompanies each other in perfect harmony – a concept of pure savor.

Dronningens Tværgade 2
Kong Hans Kelder A beautiful gothic cellar, a unique and intimate atmosphere with romantic light from candles, located in the oldest building in Copenhagen.

The new Chef Mark Lundgaard and Sommelier Tobias Nilsson and their dedicated team presents classic French cuisine based on the finest Danish produce, an excellent dining experience. We do love to go back.

Vingaardssträde 6
Fredriks Have A some hidden pearl in Copenhagen's gourmet life, located in Frederiksberg (walking distance from Fasanvej metro).
This restaurant is one of the best in Copenhagen, Chef Jimmy Månsson and souschef Thomas Lehde Pedersen presents superb international and danish cousine, excellent presentation and awesome taste. Very welcomming and serviceminded staff made us feel like royalty. We highly recommand the set menu, 3 - 5 amazing courses. (entrance via Virginiavej)

Smallegade 41
Schonnemann Restaurant Schonnemann's is one of Copenhagen's oldest eateries – a lunch-only destination, but definitely worth making it your main meal of your day.

Dark wood panelling, green walls, crisp white table linen and fustian-covered chairs – since 1877, this establishment has invited to feast on delicious smørrebrød, herring and potent shots of chilled schnapps.

A delightful old restaurant in the City Centre.
